<image:title>Meet the team</image:title>
<image:caption>Dave Cobban Former General Manager at Nike and CEO, co-founder of EasyKicks, recognized as a transformational leader in digital business, membership and sustainability. Entrepreneur, innovator, coach, angel investor, chartered accountant. An experienced leader and coach with strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial & agile mindset. As Nike’s first Entrepreneur-In-Residence, Dave and his team used the Lean Startup methodology to build an innovation pipeline and validate whether service and membership-based innovations could 1) solve meaningful consumer problems, 2) be built and managed feasibly, and 3) be profitable within the constraints of Nike’s long-term financial model. Over the course of three years, Dave took a fledgling idea around subscriptions for runners through several pivots into a highly profitable, rapidly growing and extremely sticky adventure club for kids. Having proven the value of product and service subscriptions for Nike, Dave now wants to share that expertise in building successful membership offerings for brands who want to be the Nikes of tomorrow. Dave has UK, USA and Australian passports, and currently lives in Portland, Oregon w/ his wife, Sue and daughter, Jessie (junior at Lincoln High School). Son, Harry is on gap year in Australia learning the value of time and money. Dave is an enthusiastic student of sports, but a master of none. Like Matt, he loves music and DJs under the moniker Bald Eagle and you can find his mixes here. LinkedIn | Email</image:caption>

<image:caption>Matt Fiedler Matt is a passionate builder of innovative companies, creator of new experiences, and aggregator of talented people and teams. Matt is the co-founder of record-of-the-month club Vinyl Me, Please (VMP). Since launching VMP in 2013, through the end of 2020, Matt served as the CEO of VMP, successfully taking it from a passion project to a business with more than 30k active subscribers in more than 40 countries around the world. Today, VMP is one of the most admired and respected brands within music, and a shining example of a successful membership-based business. During his tenure as CEO, VMP was named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list in the Music category, and was twice listed to the Inc. 5000 list (peaking at #342), while Matt himself was awarded Runner up Entrepreneur of the Year award by CO Biz magazine. While he remains Chairman of VMP, Matt’s endless curiosity and drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible has inspired him to share his experience with other companies. In addition to his work at VMP and UNBRKBLE, Matt serves as an advisor and mentor to several early stage companies. Matt is a graduate of Belmont University, where he received his BBA, Cum Laude, in Music Business and Entrepreneurship. He currently lives in Arvada, CO w/ his wife, Ester, and three kids (Kinzie, Audrey and Rhett). He enjoys running, watching (and talking about) professional sports, and reading endlessly.
